Six Senses expands its Yogic Sleep programme
Six Senses hotels and resorts has expanded its Yogic Sleep programme, part of the Yogic series of wellness programmes, which launched last year.
Yogic Sleep is now also avialble at Six Senses Douro Valley in Portugal, the first Six Senses resort in Europe, and at the new Al Bustan Palace in Muscat, Oman.
Ranging from three to 14 nights and available at all Six Senses resorts and at new Six Senses spas, the Yogic Sleep retreats are designed to aid relaxation by improving sleep quality.
The programme combines yoga nidra, yogic sleep, with pranayama, the breath control practised in yoga, and yoga sessions. Guests receive a sleep journal as part of the programme, as well as a guide with techniques they can practice at home.
Anna Bjurstam, Vice President of Six Senses Spas, said: "At Six Senses, we have asked for advice from some of the world's leading experts in sleep and nutrition and are delighted to share their advice during our yogic sleep programme."
