Spa Business School expands into Ireland
Spa Business School, the UK based spa education platform, has branched into the Irish market with the launch of The Irish Spa Business School.
Peigin Crowley (left), founder of the Ireland-based spa consultancy of the same name, has teamed up with Spa Business School founder Michelle Hammond (right) on the new project.
The Irish Spa Business School will, Hammond and Crowley said in a statement, offer “advanced business acceleration training programmes that enable those responsible for driving their businesses to achieve greater success”.
The inaugural training programme will be held at luxury hotel Cliff at Lyons in Kildare, Ireland on March 5-6.
The programme, sponsored by British skincare brand Elemis, will kick off with a series of tutorials and other online activities, before the on-site element next month.
The course is designed to help spa owners and directors create more successful operations by working with them to create a personalised business strategy.
Fiona Mackessy, Head of Elemis Ireland, said of the brand’s role as a sponsor: “We are proud to partner with Peigin Crowley & The Spa Business School. Ireland has a wealth of incredible spas and this innovative programme is a must for those looking to take their business to the next level”
The Spa Business School offers podcasts, online mini tutorials, written content and events ranging from webinars and live chats to workshops and courses.
Areas covered include the psychology of sales and management skills, among other topics.
