Two-storey spa opening at Fairmont Windsor Park in spring 2021

A new two-floor spa facility is opening at Fairmont Windsor Park in Berkshire in spring 2021.

The 2,500sq ft facility will be directed by spa and wellness director Lisa Barden, who was the former chair of the UK Spa Association, and the space is designed to bridge the gap between a traditional pampering spa and wellbeing clinic, catering to guests’ wellness, fitness and aesthetic needs.

The menu will offer therapies such as massages, facials, restoring rituals, energy work and life-limiting condition care, however, a differentiating component will be the aesthetic clinic, which will provide a GP service, advanced aesthetic treatments, healing and wellbeing assessment solutions, 4D body-scanning and a vitamin infusion suite.

In terms of facilities, the spa will feature 18 treatment rooms, a VIP Spa Suite with a rasul, hot tub and dressing room; dry flotation room, hammam, Himalayan salt relaxation room, cryotherapy chamber, IV infusion space, complementary therapy room and colon hydrotherapy suite, as well as an outdoor courtyard featuring a hydrotherapy space and fire pit.

There will also be light and deep relaxation rooms, a Japanese foot bath, sauna, steam room, ice fountain, pool and Jacuzzi. Fitness facilities include a group spinning studio, PT, physio, naturopath and osteopath services, gym suite, mind, body and yoga studio; and reformer Pilates studio.
