The Lake District’s Langdale Estate to open 10-treatment room spa

The Langdale Estate in the Lake District is set to open a spa this winter. The Brimstone Spa is scheduled to open in November and will feature 10 treatment rooms.

One of the treatment rooms, The Bubble, is a private spa suite with twin treatment beds and its own shower, thermal experiences and airbath. 

The suite will be the only area in the spa to offer the Russian venik treatment, incorporating the use of birch branches grown on the estate.

Other spa facilities will include a thermal suite with a Himalayan salt steam grotto, lava sauna, indoor-outdoor infinity pool, foot spas, fragrance columns and an outdoor space with a wood burning stove, relaxation bed and outdoor sauna.

There will be five relaxation areas at the spa, including a deep relaxation space with relaxation pods and a relaxation area with double beds. 

There will also be a Brimstone Spa Deli serving healthy cuisine and juices and the Apothecary, where clients can watch bespoke oils used during their treatment being blended. 

The spa will be open only to guests at the four-star Langdale Hotel.
