The new Live Stage entertained the audience
Improved for 2012, the Professional Beauty North Live Stage relaunched with great success at Professional Beauty North last weekend (14-15 October). With the same focus on learning through demonstration but a new layout and programme, the Live Stage hosted six different workshops showcasing brand new treatments.
On Sunday the Make-Up workshops kicked off the new Live Stage programme with the latest innovations from the biggest names in make-up. Jane Iredale’s Brand Manager Laura Walker presented the revolutionary Mineral BB Creams while Nicola Wakeling from Mii Cosmetics, provided the audience with 10 precious make-up tips.
Followed by the Skin and Eye care workshops, attendees discovered the New Thalgo Eye Massage Mask, introduced by Thalgo’s trainer Stephanie Hill, and “The best facial of the century”, presented by Lauren Streeter, Corporate Educator of Repêchage.
The most advanced waxing treatments have been finally demonstrated by Mat O’ Marah, from Perron Rigot, and Natasha Argyl, from Hive of Beauty.
On Monday the stage hosted the Nail workshops, where Young Nails’ President Greg Salo inspired the audience explaining how gel application process is the key for success. Sam Watkinson from Louella Belle presented the fantastic Artistic Nail Design Colour Gloss collection, while Nail Competition Director Denise Wright introduced the new Attraction Masquerade Collection by NSI.
Sienna X Brand Ambassador and celebrity tanner James Harknett and Urban Tan Brand Manager Lisa Barnett presented the latest news in tanning during the Tanning workshop programme.
The Live Stage finished with Laser where Dr Stephen Bassett from Syneron Candela and Hayley Jines from Lynton presented the latest innovations respectively in aesthetics and IPL and laser for hair and tattoo removal.
