The Spa at the InterContinental London – The 02 opens

The Spa at the InterContinental London – The 02 has officially opened its doors to the public, following the opening of the rest of the hotel in January.

The eight treatment-room spa features sauna and steam room facilities, an ice fountain, a swimming pool and a relaxation pool with neck massage jets. The spa, which spans 1,000sq m, also features a relaxation lounge serving healthy food and drinks, and a gym.

The spa works with British skincare brand Espa, with treatments ranging from The Age Defying, Advanced Enzyme and Advanced Skin Radiance facials to a Detox Wrap, a Salt & Oil Scrub, a Pre & Post Natal Treatment and a selection of massages.

The spa has been designed using mosaic tiles and rich textures and materials, to tie in with the seafaring history of Greenwich, where the hotel is located, and the area’s links to The East India Company.

Stuart Brand, spa manager at The InterContinental London – The O2, said:

“With a fantastic choice of treatments and Espa products available, alongside a delicious food menu devised specifically with our guests in mind, The Spa provides an element of escapism from busy London life.”
