Thousands of visitors from across Ireland flock to the biggest Professional Beauty Dublin show
Professional Beauty Dublin hit the RDS last weekend (30 Sep – 1 Oct) attracting thousands of beauty professionals across Ireland.
8,287 beauty professionals from all over Ireland headed to the biggest Professional Beauty Dublin show yet, a 6.13% increase from lasts year's show.
Professional Beauty Dublin brought new attractions to the show floor, with free education opportunities via a live stage and knowledge arena along with two competitions for students and professionals.
Expert speakers from the worlds of aesthetics, tanning, social media, business and education all took to the floor to deliver inspirational and motivating lectures. Rachel Kavanagh from Rock Star Tan demoed on stage felt that the live stage was an amazing addition to the show and the perfect platform for visitors to really see and understand the brands exhibiting.”
The competition arena was packed full of amazing talent in nails, nail art and make-up. “Entrants and standards were up on last year,” explains Denise Wright, the competition director. “It was great to see such talent in one place,” she adds.
The Elemis team commented: “We’ve had a great response, we’ve managed to see salons and spas that we have been trying to reach by conventional sales means. They were here today and we were able to close those deals. The show is a wonderful, professional experience from our point of view.”
The Irish launch of Waxperts Wax proved just as popular. “We launched in the UK in March, it was clear people had heard of us as we completely sold out,” explains managing director, Ellen Kavanagh.
Over 200 beauty, spa, tanning, nails, and equipment brands were on show to ensure Professional Beauty Dublin continues to grow as the platform for the Irish professional health and beauty industry and to also inspire all those who work in the profession.
Next year the show will back at the RDS on 6 – 7 October 2013.
