Major UK spa developments on the horizon for 2018 and beyond

The spa industry shows no signs of slowing down, with the announcement of three new major developments in the UK.

Luxury Collection Hotel The Langley will open in Buckinghamshire in the summer with a 25,000sq ft spa facility, featuring eight treatment rooms, a VIP suite with dip pools and women’s only thermal area.

Meanwhile, Gisborough Hall Hotel is building a woodland spa (pictured) set to replace the Revival Zone spa currently on site. Opening at the end of 2018, it will feature an 18m pool, outdoor hydro-pool, heat experiences and nine treatment rooms.

Carden Park Estate in Cheshire has secured planning permission to build a £6m spa with 15 treatment rooms, two relaxation facilities, a wellness garden and range of hydro, massage, steam and sauna therapies. It is due to open in spring 2019.
