UK Spa People 2012 findings to be presented at Spa Life UK

The conclusions of a survey of spa industry professionals will be presented at the Spa Life UK conference November 13-14

The UK Spa People 2012 study, carried out by learning and development company Urban Healing, with backing from the Spa Business Association, has canvassed the views of professionals from across the British spa and wellness industry.

The online survey gathered feedback from receptionists, therapists, trainers, managers and corporate managers. Questions were designed to discover what draws professionals to the spa and wellness field, what persuades them to stay and what drives them away.

Carried out September 15-23, the survey aimed to uncover information that will facilitate a better understanding of the key aspects involved in employee acquisition and retention within the industry and help address the challenges currently facing spa and wellness in the UK.

The findings of the survey will be made public at Spa Life UK, held at Daventry Court Hotel, Northamptonshire, November 13-14.
