Kent Richards, Corporate operations director Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas joined us for the World Spa and Wellness insight session where they discussed sustainable initiatives for your spa or hotel operations.
When discussing sustainability Kent has said: “Our main goal nowadays is to make sure that we have zero waste going back to landfills.”
He gave us some facts and figures such as their honey production which reached 70 kilograms thanks to the bees they had at every property. Honey that they would have to buy if those bees were not there.
They also produced over 100 kilograms of essential oil, making plenty of compost.
