Entering the Awards
What is the last date to get my entry submitted?
Entries close on 12th July 2024 at 5pm. Submit your free entry via this link - entries are open now.
Can I post a hard copy of my entry?
No. All entries must be submitted online.
What are the eligibility dates for entry?
Entrants eligible for consideration must have been opened before 1st May 2022.
Do I have to pay to enter?
No, there is no charge to enter the awards.
However, all shortlisted finalists are expected to send a representative to the awards night, held in London on the 2nd March 2025. Those attending will need to pay for and make their own arrangements for accommodation and/or travel.
Can I enter more than one category?
You may only enter one of the Spa of the Year categories for any one property. However, you may also enter as many relevant of the following: Spa Leader, Sustainable Spa, Worldwide Health & Wellness Destination and Team of the Year.
If entering more than one category, please ensure you have submitted each separate entry and they are in the transactions section of your account. Make sure each entry is unique in its content. The judges can become familiar with repeated entries.
Can I submit more than one entry under the same account login?
Yes, one account can be created for multiple entries including entries for different Spas/Entrants. Please ensure the correct details for the entrant are completed on the entry form.
Judging process
If I reach the shortlist, is there anything else I need to do?
Yes, here is an outline of what shortlisted entries will need to do.
Second-round judging for the Spa of the Year and Worldwide Health & Wellness Destination categories:

All entrants will receive an email after the first-round judging detailing whether or not they have achieved finalist status.

Official visitor:
-
All finalists for the Spa of the Year and Worldwide Health & Wellness Destination of the Year categories will be contacted by an official visiting judge, who will make an appointment to see the facilities. They will stay overnight and experience two treatments including your signature body treatment and one other (such as a massage or facial). Afterwards they will then report back to the judges.

The cost of the stay (up to a maximum of two nights where travel and timings are difficult), food, soft drinks, treatments, and transfers are to be covered directly by the shortlisted property.

This does not include alcohol, retail and costs associated with any additional guests (including any uplift on accommodation, all food, all drinks, all treatments and retail associated with this additional individual). If these additional costs are covered by the property, the property will be disqualified.

These visits will take place between Tuesday 10 September and Tuesday 5 November.
Second-round judging for the Sustainable Spa of the Year:

Finalists in this category will then be required to provide a video (based on set criteria) and to attend a virtual official interview on Tuesday 22 October 2024. If you are unable to attend the virtual official interview you will automatically be disqualified from the Awards.
Second-round judging for the Leader of the Year:

Finalists in this category will be required to attend a virtual interview on Wednesday 23 October 2024. If you are unable to attend, you will automatically be disqualified from the Awards.
Attending the Awards
When do the awards take place?
The World Spa & Wellness Awards 2025 will be held on Sunday 2 March 2025.
How do I get a ticket?
Tickets will be available to book in December 2025. Keep an eye out on our website and in your inbox.
Can we take the team?
Yes, please do! If you’re looking to do this in separate transactions, get in touch with the Awards Team so that we can allocate your booking accordingly.
