UK spas, salons and wellness professionals unite to make wellness accessible for all this September
Across the UK from September 19-21, 2025, professionals from every corner of the wellness world will unite for World Wellness Weekend (WWW) – a global movement powered by purpose, creativity and inclusion, and aligned with the United Nations’ third sustainable development goal: “good health and wellbeing”.
With more than 150 UK spas, salons, studios, hotels, fitness clubs and wellbeing businesses already signed up, participation is rapidly growing as venues prepare to open their doors to the public and showcase inclusive wellbeing experiences.
What is World Wellness Weekend?
World Wellness Weekend is more than a calendar date – it’s a catalyst for community connection.
Businesses are encouraged to collaborate with local colleges, care homes, schools, charities, and wellness professionals to create accessible and inclusive wellbeing activities for those who may not typically access these services.
Whether it’s a fitness class, a yoga session, a massage demo/workshop, a beauty bar, or a clean-up (park, beach, river bank), every activity matters – and every interaction is an opportunity to align your business with social sustainability and team wellbeing.
The 2025 focus: mindfulness, movement and meaning
This year’s UK focus is built around three core pillars:
- Mindfulness and serenity
- Movement and vitality
- Purpose and solidarity
Participating businesses are encouraged to host at least one free or inclusive activity that supports their team, community or a wider audience, with full support provided to bring these ideas to life with minimal time investment and maximum impact.

Who’s taking part?
Confirmed UK participants include some of the country’s leading wellness brands:

Both distinctions come with global visibility through the official World Wellness Map, offering opportunities to raise your profile and showcase your commitment to community wellbeing.
