#BeautyForUkraine: beauty salons are donating their revenue to support Ukrainian relief appeals

Beauty salons and brands across the world are taking part in the #BeautyForUkraine fundraiser on Tuesday, March 8, to help raise funds for the UNHCR Emergency Appeal for Ukraine.
The fundraiser, started by PB Award-winning nail salon chain Townhouse, has gone global with more than 40 beauty businesses in the UK, Ireland, France, USA, Abu Dhabi and more taking part tomorrow – and there’s still time for you to join in.
Those taking part are pledging to donate all or a portion of the revenue they take on March 8 to the UNHCR, which is on the ground in Ukraine and neighbouring countries providing aid that is desperately needed.
Some of the beauty businesses taking part include nail polish brands Nailberry and L'Atelier Green Paris; and beauty salons such as Awe London, Beauty Box London, The Nail Lounge Greenfield, Get Beautiful in Shepperton, Nailspa in Huddersfield, Beauty Lounge in Tankerton, and more.
Townhouse said in a statement: “We think this is an incredible and humbling story about the beauty industry uniting for an important cause and showing the resilience of (almost exclusively female) small business owners in an industry that was massively impacted by Covid-19.”
How your beauty salon can take part in the #BeautyForUkraine fundraiser:
Pledge to support #BeautyForUkraine and join beauty businesses around the world to stand strong with Ukraine. Any contribution – no matter how big or small – will make a difference.
How to take part:
- Decide what you can pledge to the UNHCR on March 8 – this could between 10%–100% of your sales on that day. For example, it could be £1/$1 per sale – whatever you can manage will be appreciated.
- Comment on Townhouse’s Campaign Instagram post to pledge to join as this helps spread the word.
- Donate funds to the UNHCR when received.
