Macdonald Hotels & Resort announces employee awards winners

UK hotel group Macdonald Hotels & Resorts has announced the winners of its annual employee awards.
Coreen Docherty from Macdonald Houstoun House Hotel was named Spa Therapist High Achiever of the Year, while Brett McCarten from Macdonald Old England Hotel & Spa won Fitness Instructor High Achiever of the Year.
Both winners were recognised for their skill and expertise, undergoing a series of written and practical tests as part of the judging process.
Ruaridh Macdonald, deputy chief executive of Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, said: “We’re incredibly proud of everyone across the company at every level and would like to congratulate the winners.”
Other awards included Chef of the Year and Conference and Events Sales Co-ordinator of the Year. Macdonald Hotels & Resorts operates 45 hotels across the UK.
