2014 Asia Spa Awards winners announced

The spa at Fusion Maia Da Nang in Vietnam, The Peninsula Spa at The Peninsula Hong Kong, the Aman Spa at the Amanfayun in China and Kamalaya Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic Spa Resort in Thailand are among the winners of the 2014 Asia Spa Awards. 

The spa at Fusion Maia Da Nang won Spa of the Year for Southeast Asia and the Pacific, while The Peninsula Spa won Urban Spa of the Year. The Aman Spa claimed Spa of the Year for North & West Asia, with Kamalaya crowned Destination Retreat of the Year. 

Other spa winners included the Ritz-Carlton Spa, Chengdu in China, named New Spa of the Year, Six Senses Spa at Soneva Kiri, Koh Kood in Thailand, which won Eco-Spa of the Year, Dii Wellness Med Spa in Thailand, named Medi-Spa of the Year, and the Elemis Spa at the St Regis Bangkok, which took home Men’s Spa of the Year. 

The awards also recognised product and treatment excellence, with Espa winning Spa Product Line of the Year, Kerstin Florian named Anti-Ageing Product Line of the Year, Vita Man winning Men’s Product Line of the Year and the Night Spa at The Island Spa, Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa winning Spa Treatment of the Year. 

Other categories at the awards included men’s, medi-spa and holistic treatment of the year, and awards for best design and best spa training.
