Aromatherapy Associates sold to B&B Investment Partners
Spa skincare and aromatherapy line Aromatherapy Associates has been acquired by an investment fund managed by B&B Investment Partners.
The newly formed investment group is a partnership between retailer Alliance Boots, and individual investors Chris Britton and Jean-Philippe Barade. The group was formed in September 2013, with a particular focus on acquiring companies in the health and beauty sector with significant growth potential.
Aromatherapy Associates said in a statement that its president Geraldine Howard and her global team are looking forward to working closely with B&B Investment Partners to help strategically develop Aromatherapy Associates across its existing luxury spa market, and beyond.
Howard said, "We are hugely excited to be working with B&B to help maximise the potential for Aromatherapy Associates over the coming months and years. Not only do they share our vision for the brand, but they bring with them a huge level of expertise that will significantly help to grow the business globally".
