New director for St Pancras Spa
The historic St Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London’s King’s Cross has appointed Carly St John as director of spa, replacing Rachel Lowe-Mukherji who left last year.
St John joins from Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, where she was the regional treatment manager for London and Europe. Prior to this she was treatment manager at Mandarin Oriental’s Hong Kong flagship.
Having travelled extensively in Asia, she will bring her experiences to the spa menu. In India, for example, she qualified as a yoga instructor. In China she developed an interest in Tai Chi along with Traditional Chinese Medicine. She also completed a face reading course in Germany, learning to recognise health in people’s bodies through their faces.
St John said: “With 13 years’ experience of the industry and a passion for a holistic approach to beauty…I look forward to working with the team in continuing to position St Pancras Spa as one of the city’s most unique locations for relaxation and rejuvenation.”
