Awards success for Yorkshire spa and owner
The Potting Shed Spa was crowned the Best Salon in the country at the British Hair & Beauty Awards last week, securing a total of eight industry awards in the last four years, including two Professional Beauty Awards in 2012 and 2014.
In acceptance of the Hair & Beauty Award, owner and founder of the Potting Shed Spa Sam Pearce said, “Against such stiff competition throughout the entire country, it is such an achievement and one that we are so proud of. We strive to set the standards for the industry and provide an exceptional service to our clients, to be recognised again for a national award is testament to our beliefs.”
Pearce, also owner of Eastthorpe Hall, has recently been shortlisted for the Sue Ryder Yorkshire women of achievement award for ‘Business’. Pearce added, “I have dedicated the last 16 years to being entirely focused and determined to make a difference, pouring my heart and soul into my work, and to be recognised for this in our region means everything. I would like to wish all the other finalists the very best of luck at what promises to be an incredible day.”
The award recognises women in the region that have excelled within the different categories of education, sport, young achiever and business, and the winner will be announced at the awards ceremony on May 15.
