Spain may be better known for its fiestas, tapas and siestas than for its health and beauty prowess, but Hammam Al Ándalus is attempting to change that by rediscovering the country’s Moorish roots through the four hammams the business has dotted across the country; in Madrid, Málaga, Córdoba and Granada.
The Madrid hammam lies smack bang in the middle of the Spanish capital, just a short walk from the hectic and touristy Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. The moment you step inside you are, however, a million miles from the hustle and bustle outside, immediately becoming enveloped in an environment of peace and calm.
