Global organic personal care market to reach £8.7bn by 2018
The global market for organic personal care products is set to reach £8.7bn (US$ 13.2bn) by 2018, according to new research from market intelligence provider Transparency Market Research.
The organic personal care market is predicted to continue to grow at a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 9.6% through to 2018 – according to the Global Organic Personal Care Products Market for Skin Care, Hair Care, Oral Care and Cosmetics report.
The growth is driven by an increased consumer awareness of the existence of organic products and of the potential dangers of some of the chemicals used in skincare, hair care and cosmetics. Frequent new product launches and widening distribution channels are also pinpointed as key growth factors.
