Jane Iredale receives 2014 Ispa Visionary Award

Jane Iredale is this year’s recipient of the International Spa Association’s (Ispa) Visionary Award. The award will be presented at the 24th annual Ispa Conference & Expo in Las Vegas on October 13-15. 

Commenting on the announcement, Ispa president Lynne McNees said that Iredale, is “a supporter and leader of the spa industry and has made great strides in reaching women of all ages and nationalities and working to improve their self-confidence”. 

Iredale said: “It’s hard to find the words to express how honoured I am to receive this award.” Iredale established Iredale Mineral Cosmetics, the company behind Iredale Mineral Makeup, in 1994 and the brand is now available in more than 40 markets worldwide. Ispa chairman Michael Tompkins said: “Jane is beyond deserving of this honour.” 

The Ispa Visionary Award is presented to a spa industry figure felt to have made an important contribution to health and wellness. Previous recipients include Susie Ellis, chairman and chief executive of the Global Spa & Wellness Summit and president of Spafinder Wellness; Murad founder Dr Howard Murad and award-winning spa and hospitality designer Clodagh, owner and managing director of Clodagh Design.
