Major spa expansion at Moddershall Oaks

UK countryside spa retreat Moddershall Oaks is embarking on a US$884,000 (£550,000) revamp of its spa facilities. Work on the extension of the spa at the Staffordshire property, which began at the end of October, is due for completion in March next year.

The extension is set to allow the property to increase the number of day and overnight spa guests by more than 10,000 a year, with the new facilities to include an outdoor terrace and garden with a 25sq m vitality pool, a Finnish log cabin and sauna, an outdoor log fire and experience showers. The extended spa will also feature an Express Beauty Suite, which will be available to rent for groups of 4-10 people and in which manicures, pedicures and makeup classes will be carried out.
