Ritz-Carlton opens first hotel in Israel
Ritz-Carlton has opened its first property in Israel, the Ritz-Carlton Herzliya. Located north of Tel Aviv, the seafront hotel incorporates 115 rooms and 82 suites and residences, with a Ritz-Carlton Spa also on the premises.

The spa includes treatment rooms for couples, a terraced outdoor relaxation area, a hammam and a rooftop pool with a view of the Mediterranean. The spa menu includes Ritz-Carlton signature treatments and Shiseido services developed especially for the Herzliya hotel. The wellness amenities also include a fitness centre.

Among the dinning outlets at the hotel is kosher restaurant Samuel Herbert, headed by well-known Israeli chef Yonatan Roshfeld, the 24-hour lobby lounge and the rooftop bar. Herve Humler, president and chief operations officer of The Ritz-Carlton, said: "It is a privilege to bring The Ritz-Carlton legendary service to Israel at this beautiful seafront location."
