Africology launches first UK spa

South African spa brand Africology has teamed up with London's Bloww Hair and Urban Spa to launch its first UK spa.

The spa located beneath the Bloww hair salon in London's West End opened its doors in early September.

The spa offers clients the chance to try out holistic treatments and ethical spa products inspired by African traditions that use ingredients such as rooibos, African potato and marula oil.

Africology owner Renchia Droganis partnered with experienced spa director Rachelle Moulai, who has been appointed as spa director of the Africology Spa at Bloww.

Moulai said: '"The Bloww Hair and Urban Spa is the perfect partner for Africology. The salon is located in a premium area in London and over the years it has positioned itself as a high-end, luxury salon where customers can expect the best possible service. This fits perfectly with the Africology ethos.'

Africology has plans to expand the brand in Europe, with distribution currently agreed for France, Belgium and Luxembourg. In the UK, the brand is also looking into other high quality salons and spas that reflect the luxury positioning of the brand.
