Ananda in the Himalayas appoints new Head of Yoga

Indian destination spa Ananda in the Himalayas has appointed Kirit Thacker as it’s new Head of Yoga. Thacker, who has more than 30 years teaching experience, has a master’s degree from the Bihar Yoga Bharati yoga university. 

Nikhil Kapur, general manager of Ananda Spa, said: “Over the years Ananda has established a reputation for authentic Hatha Yoga, offering a uniquely personal mentoring approach to help each guest achieve their respective health goals. We look forward to Kirit taking over the reins as Head of Yoga and leading our yoga and meditation practice to even greater heights."

A new programme, the Yogic Cleanse Retreat, will launch at Ananda in December. The retreat, available for seven and 14-days, aims to purify and detoxify the body.
