Aromatherapy Associates team to do cancer charity walk

The Aromatherapy Associates team is doing a charity walk on Friday September 5th, to raise money for the Defence Against Cancer Foundation. 

The Inner Strength Walk will see the team walk seven miles, from the company’s head office in Brentford, west London, to the Aromatherapy Associates boutique and treatment rooms in Knightsbridge, in the heart of London. 

Funds raised through the walk will go to the Defence Against Cancer Foundation and its research into immunotherapy – which aims to boost the immune system in order to help those diagnosed with cancer fight the illness. 

Aromatherapy Associates founder Geraldine Howard said: “I am truly honoured to raise money for such a fantastic cause that is so dear to my heart. I am so proud and grateful to my team and hope that you will join us in supporting this incredible charity”

Having undergone immunotherapy, Howard also created the brand’s popular Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil, to give others the essential oils experience that had helped her during treatment. 

As part of the brand’s support of the charity, Aromatherapy Associates donates 10% of proceeds from the sales of Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oils to the Defence Against Cancer Foundation.
