The fully equipped spa is set to open next month and will have five treatment rooms including two couples rooms.

The spa will use Elemis, with products and treatments for both women and men. There will also be treatments from other brands and some developed by Bannatyne’s own therapists.

Facilities at the club include a heated swimming pool, aerobics studios, sauna, steam room and sunbeds.

Karen Wilkinson, group head of spa for the Bannatyne Group said: “The new spa is an essential part of the Bannatyne Group’s ongoing mission to deliver enhanced health and wellbeing services to our customers.By bringing our spa and health club facilities under one roof, it allows us to deliver the highest quality service for both mind and body to our customers within a single space.”
