New beauty salon opens at Oasis Health Club in Grimbsy following £300,000 refurbishment

 

A new beauty salon has opened at Oasis Health Club in Grimbsy following a £300,000 refurbishment.

Elegance Beauty Lounge, which is run by Laura Hirst, offers a wide range of treatments, from pregnancy massage, facials and body treatments, to LVL lashes, manicures and pedicures.

The salon is also providing medical aesthetics services, such as dermaroller treatments for those suffering from acne, by in-house specialists (qualified nurse and doctor) Mandy Newton and Dr Sanjay Duhan.

This is owner Hirst’s second salon, after opening Sheer Radiance Beauty on Fieldhouse Road in Humberston.

“My first salon has been really successful so I thought it was time to have another. I have clients in their 80s as well as young customers and the more mature,” said Hirst.

The salon is using professional brands Elemis and Scentered.

Elegance Beauty Lounge is one of three new business to have opened at the health club as part of the refurbishment, the others being a clothing boutique and hair studio. 

Tracey Mills, Oasis general manager, commented: “[The club] has such a friendly atmosphere, with a wide range of members from 16 years to over 80. They are all getting results.”
