Consultancy launches to help brands and salons go multi-channel

The former brand director of beauty e-tailer Birchbox is today launching a brand partnership consultancy to help beauty brands and salon groups with multi-channel retail.

Antony Hawman's new consultancy, The Partnership Atelier, will help with brand planning, strategic brand partnerships, events and online activity, as well as commercial and advertising-led partnerships.

He has worked with salons including express-beauty chain Blow Ltd to create a strategy for retailing and marketing through physical sites, online and partnerships.

Hawman’s previous roles have focused on brand strategy and development, partnerships, social media, events, advertising and buying for media, e-commerce and consumer brands at Haymarket Media, Emap, my-wardrobe.com and Birchbox.co.uk.

In his most recent role at Birchbox, Hawman developed the brand strategy, launching brands such as Caudalie, Cowshed, Bliss, Benefit, Liz Earle and LVMH to the site, and overseeing multi-channel marketing activity for each brand.

Hawman said, “In today’s world we have to sweat our budgets, so I like nothing more than to use every possible marketing channel to drive as much return on investment as possible. In turn, maximising brand awareness and positively impacting the bottom line.”
