Cosmeceuticals merges with SkinBrands
Distribution companies Cosmeceuticals and SkinBrands have announced a merger effective from February 1, to form a new company, SkinBrands@Cosmeceuticals.
The new company will encompass more than a dozen professional brands, including advanced skincare lines and machine brands, and has an annual turnover of almost £9million.
SkinBrands@Cosmeceuticals says that the merger will offer the professional market increased support, and there will be a comprehensive new training programme to allow businesses insight into a wider range of skincare technologies.
Tracy Parkin, formerly the head of Cosmeceuticals and now the director of the new company, said, “This merger provides a fantastic opportunity to allow us to offer even more proven innovation and advanced training for salon professionals in the UK.” Tracey Beesley of SkinBrands agreed that she was “delighted” with the merger.
Brands in the portfolio include Vitage skincare, Diamondtone microdermabrasion and Omnliux light therapy, Medik8, SkinMedica and Apothederm skincare.
