Disney Spa opens at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

The redesigned Disney spa will open its doors at the entertainment giant’s Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on December 17.

Now operated and run by Disney, the revamped spa features 15 treatment rooms. The new spa menu will include treatments and experiences such as water therapy, citrus facials, sugar exfoliation and the Grand Floridian signature treatment – complete with an aromatherapy massage.

The spa menu will also cater for younger spa-goers, with the Princess Pedicure and Magical Manicure especially created for the younger market.

Architectural features at the renovated spa include a Victorian style entrance, glass mosaic tiles and a mural of a Florida landscape.

As of January 16 next year, all spas, salons and fitness facilities located at Disney resorts will be operated directly by the corporation.
