Expert focus: Beata Aleksandrowicz
New to this year’s Professional Beauty in London, the Spa Revival Zone gives attendees the opportunity to book a one-to-one appointment with a spa industry expert.
Including architects and spa directors, among others, attendees who book an appointment in the Spa Revival Zone, have the opportunity to benefit from the experience and expertise of some of some of the most experienced practitioners in the field.
The expert line-up includes Beata Aleksandrowicz, the founder of London-based Pure Massage. Set up in 2002, Pure Massage is a company exclusively dedicated to the practice of massage, based on the 12 principles of massage that make up the Pure Massage Spa Training Method – developed by Beta.
The Pure Massage Spa Training Method includes teaching massage techniques that will not only provide a relaxing experience for clients, but also help prevent work-related injuries among therapists.
Spas whose therapists haven been trained by Pure Massage include the spa at Dormy House in the Cotswolds in the UK and the Javuu Spa in the Amilla Fushi, Maldives.
A trained therapist herself, Beata has published several books on massage, including Quick & Easy Massage: 5-Minute Routines for Anyone, Anytime.
Her expertise inclues teaching self-development for therapist to prevent burnout; communication as a key part of treatment; teaching leadership skills to therapists and teamwork training.
