Faceframe and Shireen Poring-Method among Babtac innovation grant finalists

Brow extension company Faceframe and the Nuekie treatment that targets hyperpigmentation in ethnic skins are among the finalists of Babtac’s innovation grant.

The list of four finalists still in the running for the prize fund of £8,000 has been announced, and also includes Injex, which made the final with its injectable alternative Shireen Poring-Method, and Glow App, an iOS-based mobile booking app that aims to connect clients directly with mobile therapists.

The final will be held at 2pm on Monday February 24, at Professional Beauty 2014 at Excel London, where the finalists will have to deliver a 10-minute presentation to a panel of judges, in the style of BBC’s Dragon’s Den.

Beauty journalist Sarah Vine and editor of Salon Geek Cat Sims will be on the judging panel.
