Most spa owners and directors would agree that design is integral to the ambiance of a spa and that furniture is essential to that, playing an important part in establishing the right look.

Many, however, are primarily focused on the style aspects, on the visual appeal of pieces and materials and the extent to which they help create the desired atmosphere and are likely to appeal to the spa’s target clientele.

What they often overlook, or fail to give the consideration due, are the more practical points. Where and how will the furniture be used? What is the space you have available to work with and what type of treatments will the pieces be used for?
