UK’s first gin-themed nail parlour opens in Nottingham

Day spa The Little Retreat in Nottingham has opened the UK’s first gin nail parlour.

Clients can not only indulge in manicure and pedicure treatments while sipping on a drink from the spa’s bespoke Burleigh’s gin menu, but they can also enjoy the moisturising properties of the drink in gin-infused treatments.

For example, the luxury pedicure treatment involves feet being soaked in Burleigh’s pink, infused with cherry blossom and rose flowers, before being scrubbed with a lime, gin and ginger salt glow and covered in a gin and tonic infused mask. Gel-polish finishes the treatment off.

The spa is owned by Stefannie Larkman, who is an award-winning nail tech with 15 years’ industry experience.

It seems that gin fever has taken over the UK, with a gin-themed spa that offers treatments using JustBe Botanicals products having recently opened in Glasgow.
