Have your say on the future of beauty aesthetics training
Industry standards setting body Habia and Skills Active, the sector skills council for active leisure, learning and wellbeing, are calling on industry professionals to have their say in the future of beauty aesthetics training.
The National Occupational Standards for Beauty Aesthetics has been re-drafted from a 2015 version and is currently under review.
Anyone who works in beauty aesthetics – this includes roles such as beauty therapists, aesthetic practitioners, semi-permanent make-up artists and other non-healthcare practitioners – can help shape the Standards via an online survey before Friday, January 11.
Habia and Skills Active are urging beauty and aesthetics professionals to lend their expertise and personal experience to the review, having worked with a team of experts to edit and update them.
Feedback from the survey will inform the second drafting of the NOS, with new versions due to be released soon.
The survey can be accessed here.
