Hilton Jaipur opens in India
The Hilton Jaipur has opened in Rajasthan in India. The property, Hilton’s fifth hotel in the country, features three dining outlets, a 223sq m spa and a series of meeting and events facilities.
In addition to the spa, which comprises three treatment rooms and steam room and sauna facilities, recreation amenities at the hotel also include a 24-hour gym and a swimming pool.
The 929sq m of meeting and events space ranges from a boardroom and two meeting rooms to a business centre and a ballroom. Dining options at the hotel include an Indian restaurant, an all-day dining outlet and the lobby bar.
Rob Palleschi, global head, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, said: “We are excited to open our fifth Hilton brand hotel in India, extending our presence in one of our most important growth markets."
A further Hilton property, in the city of Agra in northern India, is set to open later in the year. Daniel Welk, vice president of operations, India for Hilton Worldwide, explained that “India is a key strategic growth market for Hilton Worldwide”.
