For the Jenny Packham A/W 2016 runway show at New York Fashion Week, Essie session tech Michelle Saunders created a gold star-worthy mani using shades Mademoiselle, a milky pale pink, and Good as Gold, a metallic foil-effect solid gold. Michelle was inspired by a star design on a peice in the collection and created this simple, fun look in just four steps.
- Apply a base coat. Michelle used Essie's First Base
- Apply two coats of Mademoiselle
- Using a small nail art brush dipped in Good as Gold, paint a small star on the thumb and one other accent nail of choice, repeating on the other hand
- Finish with a top coat like Essie's Good to Go
