Hourglass mani named hottest summer nail art trend

Celebrity nail artist Naja Rickette has named the hourglass manicure as the hottest nail trend this season.

Rickette, who counts A-listers such as Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Mariah Carey among her clientele, says this look is flattering on both long and short nails, making it an ideal trend for many nail art fans.

“There are unlimited variations,” she says. “You can either do a standard hourglass manicure, or you can add a third colour to really give a strong pop of colour for summer at the beach.”
