Hyatt Regency Sochi opens

The 198-room Hyatt Regency has opened in the Russian city of Sochi. The hotel is the third property in the country for the international hotel group. 

Stretching across 14 floors, the hotel features a six treatment-room spa, complete with a Russian banya, saunas, a hair salon and manicure/pedicure stations. Leisure facilities at the hotel also include a fitness centre and an outdoor pool. 

Among other amenities are 1,505sq m of meeting and events space, including a ballroom, five meeting rooms and a boardroom. The selection of dining venues include two restaurants, the lobby lounge, a bar and a pool bar. 

Peter Norman, senior vice president, acquisitions and development for Hyatt in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, said: "The opening of Hyatt Regency Sochi marks a significant step forward in expanding our brand presence in Russia."
