Jo Goodman joins Habia

Jo Goodman has been named as the new sales and marketing director for Habia and Skills Active.

Goodman joined the team from beauty brand distributor Grafton International, where she was national sales manager. She also brings experience and knowledge from previous roles with large companies in the beauty and spa industries – she has been regional spa manager for Virgin Active and new business manager for Elemis and was most recently at Grafton International. 

“I am delighted to be joining Habia as sales and marketing director and am relishing the challenge of building on its impressive track record.  I take great pride in being part of an organisation that genuinely enhances the way that people learn across our sector,” commented Goodman, adding: “My aim is to strengthen the links between education, industry standards and employers while adding value for our members through a wide variety of new projects and packages.”

Goodman was on the Habia stand at Professional Beauty 2016 and spent the day meeting Habia customers, partners and supporters. 

Gill Morris will be stepping down from her role as partnership director for Habia, following a year at the organisation spent forging closer links between education and industry.
