Lanesborough Hotel in London to open wellness spa in early 2017

The Lanesborough Hotel in Knightsbridge, London, is launching an exclusive private members club and spa in spring 2017.

The 18,000sq ft space will be a beauty, fitness and wellness destination, featuring a central treatment lounge, series of treatment rooms, thermal suite, hydro-pool, and male and female changing zones.

There will also be tailored programmes for guests on fitness, nutrition and therapies, as well as group classes, grooming, treatments and social spaces.

It will also offer members and hotel guests access to internationally recognised experts and leaders in the fields of beauty and fitness, such as wellness experts Bodyism and facialist Anastasia Achilleos, who will be launching her facial therapy exclusively in the UK through Lanesborough.

The Anastasia Achilleos Method is a holistic massage treatment that helps skin look younger and more radiant. It taps into the cranio sacral rhythms of the body, using reiki and energy lines, to release connective tissues that have become stiff and hardened over time. The treatment can be tailored to suit clients' needs.

The spa will also be using professional product houses La Prairie and ila.

The spa’s design will be inspired by the ceremonial spaces and intimate areas associated with the Roman Bath Spa, with the hope that the result will be a hybrid of luxury club and spa retreat.
