Lava Shells partners with Champneys

Massage-brand Lava Shells has teamed up with UK spa group Champneys, with Lava Shells massages to be offered at Champneys resorts from February 1.

All four Champneys resorts, at Tring, Forest Mere, Henlow and Springs, will offer the Lava Shells Relax Full Body Massage and the Lava Shells Relax Back Massage as of next month.

As with all Lava Shells treatments, the two massages incorporate the use of the heated massage tool, created from tiger clam shells from the Philippines.Champneys group spa development manager Nicola Sapsed said:

“Champneys is pleased to announce that we are offering Lava Shells treatments for 2016. Available at all Champneys resorts, this warming treatment enables our therapists to work deep in to the muscle without placing undue pressure upon them.”

The Lava Shells Relax Body Massage is a stress-releasing treatment that includes a back, neck and shoulder massage. The Lava Shells Relax Back Massage works on specific pressure points to release knots and tension.

Lava Shells has also partnered with the Champneys College, with students to be trained in the Lava Shells massage technique.
