The UK’s Macdonald Hotels has announced the expansion of its wellbeing offering, with the introduction of wellness rooms at three of the group’s most popular spa hotels.

The wellness rooms are the setting for services including nutritional advice, fitness assessments, wellbeing consultations, physiotherapy and the provision of a range of complementary health therapies.

The rooms have been introduced at Macdonald Portal Hotel Golf & Spa in Chester, Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon and Macdonald Craxton Wood Hotel & Spa in Cheshire.

The hotel group plans to also roll out the wellness rooms across its other properties in 2015. Jeanette Jones, managing director of leisure and spa at Macdonald Hotels, said:

“The Macdonald hotel group appreciates how important wellness is to our guests and we want everyone, our hotel guests, our health club members and our day spa visitors, to have the opportunity to get expert wellbeing advice.”
