Nalai spa to open at Park Hyatt New York this summer

A 1,208sq m spa has been announced for the new build Park Hyatt New York, set to open this summer. 

The flagship property’s Nalai spa will feature six treatment rooms, a eucalyptus steam room and steam showers, hot tubs, a hydrotherapy pool and an indoor swimming pool with underwater speakers, among other amenities. 

Located on the 25th floor, the spa will take a personalised approach to wellness, offering a customisable spa menu, with services that can be tailor-made to the individual’s needs.

The spa’s signature treatment will be a fully body treatment centred on the practice of earthing. Taking place on a warm sand quartz bed, it will include a warm poultice massage. 

Nalai spa director Amy Olthoff said: "We’re thrilled to offer our guests truly customised wellness and healing practices within a therapeutic environment."

Other services on the spa menu will include the Nalai international series, which will see some of the most popular treatments from the many different Park Hyatt spas around the world offered at the New York location. The treatments will change depending on season.
