New review website launches for mobile therapists
A new reviews and booking website has launched targeting freelance beauty therapists.
Homebly.com offers services similar to Wahanda but is specifically for freelance beauty professionals. Clients will be able to search for mobile therapists in their area to provide services including massage, facials, waxing and nails.
Clients will be able review and rate the therapists they’ve used, as well as book appointments through the website, while freelance therapists will be able to reach out to new clients and build their business with minimal marketing costs.
Therapists will set their prices for services, and pay a 2% commission to the company with cover card processing fees. Homebly.com also adds an 8% commission which is payable by the client.
The website, which soft launched in July, was founded by brother, former physiotherapist Taliesen Hollywood and web designer Jay Hollywood. “For freelance professionals it can be difficult to find new customers,” says Taliesen Hollywood. “They have to rely on word-of-mouth or using classifieds sites. When we created the initial concept for Homebly and tested it with freelance beauty professionals they loved it. Their profile page becomes their own web page describing their work. They can take card payments too.”
Homebly is currently offering the first 50 freelance therapists who sign up to the site a £50 cash incentive.
