New spa opens at Dartmouth Golf and Country Club
The £850,000 (US$1.4million) new spa at Dartmouth Golf and Country Club in Devon has opened, following a four-month renovation. The spa, which opened on April 26, features four treatment rooms, including a couple’s room, a sauna and steam room, an indoor swimming pool, manicure and pedicure stations, a whirlpool, a relaxation area, a Technogym-equipped fitness centre and a rasul mud chamber.
Jamie Waugh, managing director of Dartmouth Golf and Country Club, said: "The latest transformation of the Dartmouth Spa is part of our on-going commitment to making Dartmouth Golf and Country Club one of the top places to enjoy an affordable spa experience in the South West [of England]."
Treatments at the spa, which has partnered with skincare brand Elemis, cover a range of face and body options, from the Hot Stones Full Body Massage and the Indian Head Massage to the Herbal Lavender Repair and Fruit Active Glow facials. The menu also comprises treatments for men and beauty services including makeup, manicure and pedicure, waxing and eyebrow treatments.
