PB Webinars: lash extension 101 and how to get the beauty industry the respect it deserves

This week’s PB Webinar line-up (Aug 17–21) includes talks with some of the biggest and most experienced names in the industry, such as Beautystack founder Sharmadean Reid, who will be discussing what needs to happen now and in the long term to get the beauty industry taken more seriously by the UK Government.

We also have a classic, Russian and volume lash extension troubleshooting webinar, ideal for those new to the industry as well as more experienced artists.

What to expect from this week’s PB Webinar line-up (Aug 17–21):

Wednesday 19 August – 2pm – Instagram Live with Sharmadean Reid – “Getting the beauty industry the respect it deserves”

Sharmadean Reid, founder of software company Beautystack, has campaigned tirelessly throughout the coronavirus pandemic to get the beauty industry reopened and taken seriously by parliament. In this Instagram Live, the entrepreneur will talk to us about getting the beauty industry the respect it deserves and what needs to happen ongoing to get the Government to take the sector more seriously – both now and in the future.

Thursday 20 August – 3pm – Live webinar with Rebecca Hood – “Lash extensions troubleshooting”

Rebecca Hood, lash artist and owner of her eponymous lash academy in East Drayton, will explore the common troubleshooting issues beauty therapists can face when doing classic, Russian and volume lash extensions, and how to overcome them.
