Monday 13 July – 11:30am – Live webinar with Antonia Burrell – Non-invasive facial lifting techniques: cupping, lymphatic drainage and more

Facialist and skincare brand founder Antonia Burrell will be talking about the best non-invasive facial lifting techniques to incorporate into your facial treatments, covering cupping, lymphatic drainage, sculpting and more. Burrell will explain how each technique works, the benefits and contraindications, and which type of client is best suited to them. There will be a 15-minute audience Q&A at the end. 

  

Tuesday 14 July – 11:30am – Joint AM and PB live webinar with Jon Exley – Managing the risks associated with Covid-19 transmission during laser treatments

As beauty salons and aesthetic clinics prepare to reopen after coronavirus lockdown, many practitioners are seeking advice on how to reduce the risks associated with Covid-19 transmission during laser and IPL treatments – particularly those associated with laser plume. Having assisted in the development of the latest guidelines from the British Medical Laser Association and worked on preparations for the reopening of The Lynton Clinic, Dr Jon Exley will share his knowledge and experience in this unprecedented new environment of aesthetic laser and IPL treatments in this joint Professional Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine webinar.

 

Friday 17 July – 11am – Instagram Live with Lan Nguyen-Grealis – How can make-up artists work post-Covid-19?

Celebrity make-up artist Lan Nguyen-Grealis will discuss how make-up artists can prepare to go back to work post-Covid-19, covering how you can prepare your kit, the PPE to invest in, and what challenges and changes there will be on-set, backstage and working with clients.

Nguyen will also cover how journey to becoming a major name in the make-up industry and will take questions from the audience. 

Friday 17 July – 2pm – Live webinar with MP Caroline Nokes – Interview with the MP speaking up for the beauty industry in Parliament

Caroline Nokes, MP for Romsey and Southampton North, has been praised for being a voice for the beauty industry in Parliament during the coronavirus pandemic, understanding the worth of our sector for the country’s economic recovery and working hard to get the profession clear guidance from the Government. We will talk to Nokes about her experience in this situation, what she’s doing to further help this female-dominated industry and what needs to change so the Government understand the complexity of the beauty industry. There will be a 15-minute audience Q&A with Nokes at the end of the session too.
