Pevonia rewards top spas and salons

Figure and Face in Welshpool and Ireland’s Muckcross Park were among the winners in Pevonia’s 2013-2014 UK Spa Awards.

There were five winners in total. Cloisters Spa, Muckross Park Hotel, Ireland, won the Destination Spa of the Year award. Hotel Spa of the Year went to thespa at Cadbury House, Bristol. DreamsDay Spa in Carlisle took the Day Spa of the Year award.

It was a good year for Figure & Face in Welshpool (pictured), which won two awards, taking home the Salon of the Year, as well as Therapist of the Year for Christabel Davies.

Winners were decided by a team of judges, based on sales, performance, PR and marketing strategy, training and creativity, as well as the results of customer nominations.

Winners received a personalised trophy or badge, a bottle of champagne and a bouquet of flowers, with the winning therapist also receiving a personal cheque for £500.
